Yolanda, having asked you about your '65 jazz at bass day in Manchester, I wondered (seeing as you wouldn't let me borrow it ;) ), how do you have the action set? Any idea what the action is at the 12th fret? That thing just sounded fantastic, and looked even better, and it's the same age as me, it was a good year. Russ, Manchester.

Hi Russ, I remember you, cheeky!
I had a little measure of the old thing and it's set to about 5mm at the 12th. Altho' I was using a dodgy kids ruler to check!!
I'm really into it's sound, they're all unique and it took me about 10 years of looking (not constantly) to find the right one!

Love the album, Miles is a bit good on the skins eh? I'll look forward to catching up with you all again on the road somewhere.
